The etched frog on this glass tankard was designed by Haida Indian Artist Darrel Amos who says "I am passionate about painting in the Haida style as it affirms who I am and where I come from, and it is my way of healing and giving back to the community."
Darrel is a member of the Raven Clan of the Haida Nation from the islands of Haida Gwaii (Queen Charlotte Islands) British Columbia. Darrell is a self-taught artist, inspired at a very young age by the artwork of family members and numerous master carvers.
The glasses are hand crafted by an artisan in Canada.

The colorful frog design was created by Native American artist, Anthony Joseph. Anthony resides with the Squamish Nation in British Columbia and was born into the Eagle Wolf Clan as the youngest of eight brothers, all of whom are traditional carvers.
